Facts versus Fake
Facts versus Fake: Unlocking Truth Online—organized by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering—focused on combating misinformation in the digital age. The event featured a keynote session by Dr. Pankaj Garg, a renowned Factshala Trainer, who shared insights on identifying fake information and fostering critical thinking. Engaging discussions and interactive activities followed, allowing participants to analyze real-world scenarios and develop digital literacy skills. By exploring the intersection of technology and critical thinking, the event equipped attendees with essential tools to navigate the online world responsibly and discern fact from fiction.

The WebRelay Challenge
The WebRelay Challenge, hosted by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter and the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, was a high-intensity competition testing coding skills, teamwork, and strategic thinking. Split into two phases, the event kept participants on their toes. In Phase 1 (Decode and Build), one team member decoded ambiguous hints while the other implemented the solution. The twist? Not everything was straightforward. Phase 2 (Role Reversal) switched roles, challenging adaptability and quick thinking. A hidden bonus rewarded innovative strategies. The event was a thrilling test of logic, speed, and coordination, pushing participants beyond conventional problem-solving.

Codathon 2K25
Codathon 2K25: A Critical Thinking Approach to Skill Development was organised by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Science and Engineering, provided a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their coding expertise and problem-solving abilities. The competition took place into two rounds: an online round held on 29 January followed by an offline round held on 4th February . Their ability to think critically and implement efficient solutions. The event concluded with a Felicitation Ceremony where the winners were honoured for their exceptional performances. Codathon 2k25 not only inspire innovative ideas but also emphasized the importance of critical thinking and skill development in the field of technology.
Our Events

Hack India
Hack India, a two-day event led by Stephen Simon and his team, was organized by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter, Coding Blocks CUIET Chapter, IEEE Student Branch, and Explore Labs. Held on October 7th and 8th. On the 1st day, a quiz was conducted followed by Round 1. The 2nd day featured the review of Round 2 and project presentations. Based on the presentations, three teams were selected to the final round in Delhi.

Code Casual Talk
"Code Casual Talk: Innovate Today, Lead Tomorrow" was organized by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter on 30th September 2024. The event commenced with Mr. Livarpit Sandhu, Chairperson, delivering an insightful presentation. Following this, core heads and team leads introduced their roles. The orientation successfully motivated attendees to explore, innovate, and actively engage in the ACM community.

Lady Ada National Level Programming Contest
The "Lady Ada National Level Programming Contest", a flagship event organized by ACM-W India and CRIO, celebrated the exceptional coding abilities of women across the nation. The event was hosted by the Chitkara University in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, the contest aimed to empower women in computing by providing them a platform to showcase their skills.

Spheron X Aptos Supermove Tour
The "Spheron X Aptos Supermove Tour" took place on October 10, 2024, organized by the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. The event kicked off with a welcoming speech and a fun Web3 quiz to familiarize students with blockchain concepts. Notable speakers included Hardik Vashistha from Spheron and blockchain developer Rahul Kathuria.

Pixel Fusion
Pixel fusion is the event of ultimate gathering of design enthusiasts and professionals alike in which students gain full access to the graphic designing and sharpen their skills in these techniques. Students engage in hands on activities and collaborative challenges to push their boundaries.

Telos Chandigarh Meetup
The Telos Meetup, organized by the ACM Student Chapter, DevLearn, and HackQuest, was a grand success, led by Kartikhey Garg. Around 150 students gathered to celebrate their achievements from the 5-day IRL Co-Learning Camp. The event served as a platform for recognition, where students were awarded goodies and various rewards for their dedication. Discussions centered around Telos' contributions to the Web3 space.

Envision
Envision: Where Timeless Bonds Foster Innovation!, was very inspiring filled with creativity and excitement! We provided a detailed overview of the Chitkara ACM Student Chapter through an engaging presentation.A beautiful case study was discussed, showcasing innovation in action. Looking forward to many more such enriching experiences with this amazing community.

YIMUN
Young India Model United Nations (YIMUN) “Where Future Leaders Innovate to Shape Global Solutions”, a two-day event hosted by The Chitkara ACM Student Chapter in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, on October 23rd and 24th simulated the United Nations Security Council (UNSC). On the first day, delegates engaged in lively conversations about important international topics.
